We get paid when you do
Our income is a share of the processing fee on each payment, at the rate published on the pricing page. There's no monthly fee, so a quiet month for you is a quiet month for us.
Why we built it
When you set up card processing for other people, you watch the same things go wrong. A rate that isn't on anyone's website. A three-year contract with a fee for getting out of it. A gateway fee, a statement fee and a compliance fee, all found later on a statement nobody explained.
And then the part that costs the owner the most: needing a phone call to do ordinary things. Refunding a customer. Cancelling someone's subscription. Finding out whether money actually landed.
So Brijee is the opposite of that list. The rate is published before you apply, there is no contract, and the things you'd normally have to call about — a refund, a cancellation, an API key, turning a payment method on — are buttons you press yourself.
What we hold to
The price is on the website
2.8% + 25¢ for online card payments, 1% for bank payments. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no cancellation fee. The full rate card is public before you apply.
No contract
Month to month. Leave when you want, and we don't charge you for leaving.
Card numbers aren't ours to keep
Card and bank numbers are encrypted in the browser and replaced with tokens. They don't reach our servers, and we couldn't hand them over if we wanted to.
We write down what doesn't work yet
Every page on this site has a section for what Brijee can't do. Apple Pay isn't live. There's no card reader yet. Those are written down, not left out.
One thing to know
Brijee is new. The office behind it isn't, but the product is — so there are no customer quotes on this page. We'd rather leave the space empty than fill it with something we made up. When businesses have been running on Brijee long enough to have something real to say, it goes here. Until then, the pricing and docs pages are the honest version of what you'd be signing up for.
